The list of other players, who all have DR Congolese passport but never been selected to any of DR Congolese national teams: #1. Experienced Charles Kahudi (199-SF-86, currently plays in France) led ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket to a victory against the seventh-ranked Le Mans (15-10) 89-75 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA in Wednesday night's game. He scored 11 points in a mere 18 minutes. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (13-3) is placed second in the Jeep ELITE ProA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Kahudi's sixth season with the team. This year Kahudi averages: 6.7ppg and 2.2rpg in 16 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: DR Congolese and French. #2. Bismack Biyombo (206-PF-92, currently plays in NBA) could not help the Charlotte Hornets (33-39) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Biyombo's good performance the Charlotte Hornets (33-39) were crushed 113-90 on the road by the Los Angeles Clippers. He was the second best scorer with 13 points. Biyombo also added 7 rebounds. His team will play only one more game in the NBA Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. This season Biyombo averages: 5.1ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.2apg and 1.2bpg. #3. Viny Okouo (215-C-97, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help Gipuzkoa (7-27) in their last game. Despite his good performance the bottom-ranked Gipuzkoa was badly defeated 81-63 at home by the much higher-ranked (#5) Baskonia. Okouo had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 13 rebounds in 29 minutes. It was Gipuzkoa's fifth consecutive loss in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. It's Okouo's first season with the team. This year he averages: 9.7ppg and 5.5rpg in 34 games. #4. Henry Pwono (198-F-91, college: ECU, currently plays in Luxembourg) led Etzella to a victory over the seventh-ranked Heffingen (9-10) crushing them 91-71 in the Luxembourg Total League last Saturday. Pwono was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 12 rebounds. Pwono also added 6 assists and 5 steals in 40 minutes. BBC Etzella Ettelbruck (17-3) is placed first in the Total League. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. Pwono has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 21.7ppg, 11.2rpg, 3.6apg and 2.2spg in 20 games. Pwono is a naturalized American. Strangely he has never played in DR Congo. #5. Nicola Akele (203-F-95, college: URI, currently plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams Treviso (3-3) in their game against Virtus BO (5-1) in the Italian Serie A. Akele recorded 5 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Treviso was badly defeated 91-72 in Bologna by the leading Virtus BO. Akele's overall stats this season are: 8.0ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.2apg. He is another player who holds two passports: DR Congolese and Italian. #6. Wen Boss Mukubu (198-SF-83, college: UAB, currently plays in Belgium) couldn't help Limburg United in their game against Oostende in the Belgian Euromillions League. Mukubu recorded 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. His team was crushed by 23 points 86-63. Mukubu's total stats this season are: 9.9ppg, 5.5rpg, 2.4apg and 1.6spg. He has both DR Congolese and Belgian nationalities. #7. Junior Etou (201-F-94, college: Tulsa, currently plays in France) couldn't help Quimper UJAP in their game against JA Vichy in the French ProB (second division). Despite his good performance on Friday night Etou scored 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Etou has averaged so far 9.7ppg and 5.5rpg. #8. Brandon Kuba (198-F-98, currently plays in Switzerland) couldn't help Geneve in their game against Starwings in the Swiss SBL. He cannot count Friday's game as one of the best ones. Kuba scored only 2 points in 7 minutes on the court. His team was edged 77-75. Kuba has averaged so far 6.1ppg and 2.8rpg in 25 games. He also holds two passports: DR Congolese and Swiss. #9. L'Hassane Niangane (208-C-94, college: Gardner-Webb, currently plays in France) contributed to Dax-Gamarde's victory against the ninth-ranked Rueil 76-69 in the French NM1 (third division) last Monday. Niangane scored 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Niangane has averaged so far 4.0ppg and 3.5rpg. He holds both DR Congolese and French passports. #10. Rodin Sangwa (200-F-2, currently plays in Switzerland) managed to help Groupe E Academie Fribourg U23 team in a victory against one of league's weakest teams Baeren 65-56 in the Swiss NLB (second division) on Wednesday night. Sangwa scored only 2 points in 14 minutes. Sangwa has averaged so far 2.0ppg and 1.5rpg in six games.
